Description: Selfless service alone gives the needed strength and courage to awaken the sleeping humanity in one’s heart. Considering this, Blood Donation Camp was organized in the school. The event commenced by invoking Lord’s blessings followed by Lamp Lighting Ceremony. The Chief Guest, Mr. Jagvinder Singh (Senior Branch Manager, Central Bank of India, Mall Road, Patiala), Guest of Honour, Ms. Anu Bala (Senior Branch Manager, Punjab National Bank, New Grain Market, Patiala) and Dr. Monika Kalyan (Senior Resident, Department of IHBT, Blood Centre, Rajindra Hospital, Patiala) were cordially welcomed by Rev. Sr. Flevy David (Principal, Our Lady of Fatima Convent Secondary School, Patiala). The paramedical staff from Rajindra Hospital remained supportive throughout the camp while filling up forms and so forth. It was observed that 60 donors availed this life’s greatest opportunity by donating blood. Certificates of appreciation were distributed to the donors for their exemplary act.
