Description:
Teej celebration is not just a festival; it is a symbol of bliss, devotion, and the strength of womanhood. It is a time for girls to come together and celebrate gratitude. This joyous festival marks the arrival of the monsoon season. We celebrated Teej at school, where the girls came dressed in traditional Punjabi attire, complete with teachers. The celebrations included folk dance, Giddha. A special highlight was the swings, where both the girls and teachers took turns riding. Delicious Punjabi delicacies, including kheer and jalebi, were served. Special gifts were given to the girls, and the guests of honor for the occasion were the Rev. Sisters.
